“Steve”

Note: WOMAN is a 20- to 30-ish female.

WOMAN: I couldn’t believe my eyes the first time I went out with Steve. Fast food wrappers filled his car. Cups were shoved under the seats. Straw wrappers filled the ashtray. I thought to myself…(MUSIC: ROMANTIC)…this guy is too good to be true. He doesn’t throw his litter out the window like everyone else, he keeps it in his car until he finds a proper place to dispose of it. To me, that said he cared. About me and my safety on the road. He wanted me to live in a clean, unlittered city. And when I went out with Steve a second time, it was all still there…and then some. And I thought to myself, he’s not too good to be true. He’s a slob.

ANNOUNCER: It’s good when you keep trash off the roads. It’s even better when you dispose of it the right way. Don’t trash Arizona. To know more, go to Don’t-trash-Arizona-dot-com. A message from the Maricopa Association of Governments.
